The progression heart accompanied by an increase the metabolism ketone bodies. use exogenous ketones may become new therapeutic approach to cardiac efficiency, reduce energy deficit improve function with failure. review presents available data on body failure, preclinical studies demonstrating beneficial effects therapy animal models human describes potential pros cons using this approach.
